04 / From desk to planter

A small ritual.
A fresh beginning.

You don't have to plant each card in its calendar month. Wait for a suitable season and growing environment, and start with the instructions supplied with your set.

  1. Soften the paper

Moisten the card with water. If needed, tear it into pieces that fit the pot.

  2. Give it a little soil

Lay it on moist potting mix in a draining pot. Cover lightly, following the seed instructions.

  3. Keep it gently moist

Choose a warm, bright position. Check the soil regularly and avoid standing water.

Set your seeds up for a good start
Warmth

Aim for about 21–24°C / 70–75°F for these seed varieties. Protect new growth from frost.

Moisture

Keep the paper and surface soil evenly moist during germination, with drainage underneath.

Light & patience

Give seedlings suitable light and space. Timing varies; avoid letting the paper dry out.

service@psweilife.com

How many monthly cards are in the set?

The set contains 12 separate monthly cards, covering January through December 2027. Each is A6 landscape, 14.8 × 10.5 cm.

Are the wooden stand and gift box included?

Yes, in the set described here: one wooden stand, one kraft box and one non-plantable instruction card. Pots, soil, plants, tools and styling props are not included.

Which seeds are in the cards?

The set uses six sweet basil cards and six French marigold cards, alternating by month. The printed botanical illustration does not identify the seed species. Check the actual seed label supplied with the product.

When should I expect sprouts?

General loose-seed guidance is about 5–10 days for basil and 5–8 days for marigolds in suitable warmth. Seed paper can take longer, and germination is not guaranteed. Keep it evenly moist and follow the supplied batch instructions.

Do I have to plant a card in its calendar month?

No. Choose a suitable season and location for the seed variety. If outdoor conditions are too cold, start in a suitable indoor environment or keep the card dry until conditions improve.

Can I plant the stand, box or guide?

No. Only the monthly seed-paper cards are intended for planting. Reuse or dispose of the stand, packaging and instruction card appropriately.

How should I store unused cards?

Keep them flat, cool and dry, away from sunlight, heaters and humidity. Do not soak them until you are ready to plant. Follow any batch-specific storage or planting date on the supplied label.

Where can I ask about my order or growing instructions?

Email service@psweilife.com. For an order question, include your order number. For growing advice, include the seed label, planting date and a photo of the setup.
